Closing the Revolving Door: Building Skilled & Motivated Teams - Succeeding at Work Launches a New Fully Funded Employer Stream

Succeeding at Work recently launched a new employer focused stream that is fully funded allowing businesses to educate and upskill new hires and existing workers at no cost and with no loss in production time. Education is a great motivator, and FPSC is evaluating retention gains produced by establishing a workplace continuous learning culture with on-the-job self-directed training. National Program Manager, Deanna Zenger will walk webinar participants through benefits to industry, the online training courses and custom learning portal being offered.

Deanna Zenger - Regional Coordinator at Food Processing Skills Canada 

Deanna Zenger has been a trailblazer in the food and beverage industry for a number of years. As part of the senior team with Food Processing Skills Canada, she leads national workforce programs, and represents specific labour interests in Central Canada.

Deanna is recognized for her expertise in skills development and training, and is also known as a top class public speaker able to articulate the challenges and opportunities within the industry. She brings real-time experience to the job working with businesses, employees and job seekers on a daily basis. Deanna has an interesting professional history as an entrepreneur, business owner, learning engineer, content and program developer, educator and published author.

She also loves to engage in conversations on how to make Canada’s food and beverage manufacturing industry the absolute best place to work for Canadians and new Canadians.
