In this 45-minute webinar, John will take you on a rooftop journey across our global food supply ecosystems. He will explain the complexities and challenges, outline the 5-pillars of the food system, and provide rationale for why we need to take a systems-view of food ecosystems. He will discuss key terms and definitions that are commonly misinterpreted or misunderstood. For those not familiar with modern technologies, he will describe the benefits and challenges of modern technologies such as blockchain, IoT, and AI.

John G. Keogh is a strategist, advisor and management science researcher with 30 years of executive leadership roles as Director, VP and SVP in global Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Technology Consulting and Supply Chain Standards. Mr. Keogh is Managing Principal at Toronto-based, niche advisory and research firm Shantalla Inc. He holds a post-graduate diploma in Management, an MBA in Management and a Master of Science in Business and Management Research. He is a doctoral researcher focused on transparency and trust in food chains at Henley Business School, University of Reading using the lenses of agency theory, signalling theory and transactional cost theory.
