Barry Callebaut is the world's leading manufacturer of high-quality cocoa, chocolate and confectionery products, and are distributed by Caldic North America for manufacturers in the Canadian Food Industry. The Single Origin couvertures are each made with cocoa beans from one particular country or region. Each chocolate brings you an exciting taste sensation and aromatic character – reflecting the soil, the climate and the environment where the cocoa beans were grown. Just like wine, the taste of these couvertures can slightly alter with each harvest.

In 2006, John and Allison Chang found the parcel of land where the winery resides today. They planted Richmond’s first ever vineyard while designing the beautiful building. After three years, they opened the doors to the community on Canada Day weekend in 2009.
