Starting in January 2026, food and beverage CPG products exceeding a certain level of saturated fat, sugars, and sodium will be required to display a new front-of-pack (FOP) symbol. Join us for an informative webinar as we partner with the Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA), a leading authority on regulatory changes and consumer perceptions, to help you navigate this new requirement. CHFA will break down everything you need to know about the FOP symbol and the upcoming regulartory changes and share key insights from their recent consumer study, 'Consumer Perceptions to Nutrition Labelling and the New Front-of-Pack Symbol in the NOW Industry. Her tenure in the industry not only honed her skills but also provided a deep understanding of the nuances and challenges in rapidly evolving sectors.
Her ability to bridge the gap between regulatory considerations and overarching business objectives has been instrumental in positioning organizations for success in a highly regulated environment.
Her multifaceted career includes roles as a food scientist, quality assurance lead, nutrition educator, and nutrition program developer, underscoring her diverse skill set which has provided her with a unique perspective, enabling her to make informed decisions and drive positive change in the wellness industry

Reena is a Certified Food Scientist (CFS), who has worked in the BC Food Industry for over 14 years. Her CV includes experiences in analytical laboratories (SGS), food product development at Flying Wedge Pizza and Daiya Foods, and more recently technical ingredient sales at Caldic North America. Reena’s passion for food science shines through when working with clients to discover the right ingredient for their sourcing challenges.
